Main thing is to get the model number and check it out either at the
manufacturer's site or at TheRef(tm) at <http://theref.c3d.rl.af.mil/>.

As far as I'm concerned, a SURVPC user who doesn't know about TheRef and use
it regularly is severely handicapped. Same goes for Blue Planet at
<http://www.blue-planet.com:80/tech/> and other similar sites. But TheRef is
#1 in my book.
