I don't know how the optimized and compressed versions work, but the full PDF
is almost plain PostScript (last I looked at a file converted with Distiller).
In that case, you need to basically read the file and return everything inside
brackets: for instance (this stuff here is what you need) - there are escape
characters and control characters to deal with though.
