I can. Radio Shack's TRS-80 Z-80 computers (the Models I, III and 4) had a
bunch of DOS's available to them; there was the "official" TRSDOS, but also
NEWDOS/80, LDOS (which was so superior to TRSDOS that Tandy contracted with
them to develop the Model III hard drive OS and the Model 4's TRSDOS),
DOSPLUS, MULTIDOS and a bunch of others. Generally you had to apply a patch
to a program in order for it to run under one of the other DOS's, but after
that, away you went!

I've long contended that if M$ had based their PC operating system on LDOS
instead of CP/M, we would have had a better operating system.
