More power to ya, bro! That's the kind of thing I love to do for people.
The reference disks for AT's, PS/1's and PS/2's (and maybe some others)
are located at this ftp site and directory;
<ftp://ftp.pc.ibm.com/pub/pccbbs/refdisks/>
Here's how to get what you're looking for;
First, grab this file:
<ftp://ftp.pc.ibm.com/pub/pccbbs/allfiles.txt> (fair warning; it's 1.4MB)
and look for the file you want. Then drop into
<ftp://ftp.pc.ibm.com/pub/pccbbs/refdisks/> and download the file. I suspect
what you're looking for is
<ftp://ftp.pc.ibm.com/pub/pccbbs/refdisks/atdg207.exe>, but the allfiles.txt
should confirm it.
After you finish there, go to
<gopher://gopher.ed.gov:70/11/software/IBM>
which has about 60 megs of older educational software programs.
Download <gopher://gopher.ed.gov:70/00/software/IBM/file>
first, since it gives the extensions of all the filenames. It seems kinda
cumbersome, but it's the only way I can find today to get to the files. Used
to be a route via ftp://ftp.ed.gov to get to the files, but couldn't find it
today. I downloaded the whole thing a long time ago as it is such a good
resource.
