Well, Or, here I go. Tandy is a specific brand of personal
computers mostly form the 1980s.
They were made by Tandy corporation. Tandy corporation is the
company that owns and runs the "Radio Shack" chain of electronics and
hobby stores in the USA.
Radio Shack and Tandy got into the Personal computer scene before MS-
DOS. they had several really old computers that used other software
that I have no experience with.
The first of their computers were labeled "TRS-80" which stood
for "Tandy: Radio Shack - for the 1980s" . After a few years they
just started writing "Tandy" on them.
One computer of theirs which gor pretty darn popular in America
in the Tandy 1000. (an XT) It eventually turned into a whole long
series of models. The original Tandy 1000 was my first computer. it
was mostly an IBM PCJr clone. But it had some upgrade options the
PCJr didn't, and it has WAY better 3 vioce sound chip. It also had
some special graphics resolutions, etc.
Tandy made some of the first laptops, and lots of oddities. I
personally have the original 1000, an model 100 laptop, and a Tandy
3200 which is a 486.
go lookee at my web page, "Two Tandys" for a photo of the older
ones, and I have links to some "computer museum" pages that have
timelines, descriptions, etc of many many old computers.

If you have any specific questions, ask, and If i don't know then
I'll ask around the Tandy people on line to try to find whatever.
