Problem is with the Pentium Pro (and ex. Windows). A Pentium is not likely
to give any problems at all (they can happen of course, but that's very rare).

Or Borland (Turbo) C/C++ (Borland did TP as well), but that's another limit.

Yes, fixed crt.tpu files are available (perhaps I should recompile my own
programs and even get a hold of the author of "CyberDogs" and ask him to
recompile as well).
Otherwise there's the option as you say to run a "slow-down" program
(several have been reported working good by members of the list earlier).
