Hi Karen,
I guess you didn't quite understand my previous answer
to this. (Maby you missed it) You are probably not
understanding some fundamental idea about CDs. <g>
CDs are just like any other drive. You read them in the
same way. Can you read files on your hard drive? If yes,
then try the same method on the CD.
Personally, I use several ways of reading files. A
program called LIST is by far my favourite and that is
also what I use for my e-mail. Sometimes I use an ancient
program by Michael Mefford called DirMagic (DM.COM)
because it is fast and efficient. For files which are
really small, I just use the DOS type command because that
puts me back at the prompt emmediately.
If none of this makes sense, it would be helpful if you
would post some idea of what it is that you expect and
then we can better help you get the picture. <g>
