They aren't there to find. The circuitry has
been integrated using ASIC chips and other
hardware tricks -- if you HAD an appropriate
part, there would be nowhere to put it.

That sounds promising, but that basically amounts
to making a bad implementation "acceptable." I'm
not sure I'm thrilled, but it's quite an feat.
