Didn't the entire Arachne list get that (don't ask me to load those big
files in Eudora as well - around 20MB have been sent from the SurvPC list
sofar (own mail excluded) and I assume Arachne has generated some more
(30MB since May that year actually)).

The first one I have is dated "Wed, 30 Sep 1998 03:12:20 +0700" and was
sent by Eko. The first mail is quoted in that (Ole Juul was the first one
to mail a real mail)
Or as Eko wrote:
"Well, actually it was the second post, the first one was a
spam from non-member, it bounced <g>"
But if we study http://www.eGroups.com/group/survpc/?fetchForward=1&start=1
We see that the first mail was sent by Eko (8 sep.) and the second by Ole
(29 sep.)
A problem with time here (except that I was incorrect) is that the time is
diffrent for many of us since we are from the entire world. (Eko for
instance have 8 hours diffrence from me IIRC).
BTW: I've studied the statistics it seems that I've been correct again (for
everyone that have forgotten or wasn't on the list in January (or something
like that) I guessed (drew a line on a paper actually and calculated it) on
the ammount of mails sent in Febuary which was rather correct) about the
ammount of mail (between 500 and 600 a month) but that trend was easy to
spot. Remember when we had the double each month (the two first). It was
hard to keep up if you ask me (just look at my grades from that period <g>).
