Hmm... I know I've lost a few due to power failures or crashes (before
Outlook's had a chance to flush to cache and then to disk) but not that
many. Maybe some are floating in my 'Other' inbox from incorrectly
configured rules, not sure.
Actually, I guess the bulk of those I'm missing from Inbox\SurvPC is made
up of messages cc:ed or Bcc:ed to the list - they sit in my Inbox unless I
move them, which I don't.

Ahhh... all is revealed. Stupid eGroups - all the other counts tell you 'of
last x messages' but not that one. Oh well. Luckily gem-dev (my GEM
Development list there) hasn't reached 5000 messages yet :)

I would say get it out in the next week or fortnight, which would give three
or four weeks to collect and collate replies.
