I think this is the 1992 compilation that includes the readme
file "Waterloo TCP Installation Notes by Erick Engelke". This
is classic documentation for anyone using Wattcp applications.
I don't think it is included in the 1994 compilation that I am
using.
You can find all the individual programs from both versions at
http://mvmpc9.ciw.uni-karlsruhe.de/d:/public/tcp_ip/wattcp/ in
the apps/ and oldapps/ directories. The readme file (about 30k)
is in both.

It works! I've been using several of the Wattcp apps (see my
sig) for a long time but never got around to trying this one
before. The timserver I used is the primary nameserver/default
gateway at my ISP (FreeNet). I had to "ntime host -5" to adjust
from GMT to EDT. The daytime program failed to connect.
