I've just had a look at www.dragonlinux.nu and there's now a version
0.76 available for d/l. There's also a 0.75-to-0.76 update (see under
0.75/updates/) which concedes the networking problem in 0.75.
I'm going to apply the update to my 0.75 installation and give it
another go.
