Many of the GNU tools, including the bash shell, have been ported to
DOS/Windows.  I believe Cygnus (www.cygnus.com) has a development
environment package that you can download, which includes bash and most of
the common utilities for Win32.  I think that it mimics most of a regular
Unix/Linux CLI environment, including the single hierarchical filesystem and
even some of the admin stuff like the passwd file.
