Maybe it has nothing to do with maturity or excitement and everything to do
with the way brains differ.  I also like to do a multitude of things at one
time.  It's not because I like a challenge but because my brain does it
anyway and if I don't give it meaningful tasks it'll start singing
brainless lines from catchy tunes, daydreaming and generally drifting
off.  If I am doing 3-5 things at once, (tv, email, icq and something
manual like taking apart broken lcd screens) then I can stay on track better.
