Check the proxysettings in Netscape (View,Preferences,Advanced)
Uncheck "Connect to network" if checked, in the Internet connection settings.
Reinstall any updates made to the internet connection
Try Internet Explorer instead

There is a much better solution, install Linux in stead. It is multieverything,
perfect for the internet.
