The two screw terminals might be for grounding in that case.  Ethernet
apparently needs at least one grounded connection somewhere on the bus -
I've never had one on mine though.  I suppose these might just be convertors
for Cheapernet to TP, but it sounds dodgy.

ARCnet isn't AFAIK at all compatible with Ethernet.  It's best not to
experiment either :)  (Interesting thing about Cheapernet is that both ends
have to be on the same mains phase otherwise you can melt the cable in quite
a spectacular (and carcinogenically smelly) way...)

No problem.  If it was labelled as an FCC ID though, it should be in the
database - faking an ID is bad and I think would result in significant
problems for DEC.  Maybe's it's mutilated or corrupted on the card...
