It's not hidden from the user.  Just enter "mount"
to see where everything is.

Fine.  If you are so keen on C: D: E:  then name
your mountpoints /C: /D: /E:     It's your choice.

OK Bernie, answer me this:  on my system I have three
harddrives (primary master, primary slave and secondary
master).  Some of the drives have more than one partition;
some partitions are visible to DOS and some aren't.
DOS shows three logical drives (C: D: and E:).
On which harddrive is E: ?
