A but the problem would be the change, and of course "high noon" wouldn't
be good at all. Besides how could we come to an agreement on what time
that's supposed to be the same as it already is (GMT+1 probably has the
most countries with Europe and Africa, but Asia has more people and the UK
are the foundation for the entire system).
Speaking of this, unless I've counted completly incorrect Kiribati (sp?)
has GMT+14 or +13 how's that possible (isn't it -12 to +12)?

But then we can't measure in seconds either. A second is the time it takes
for light to travel a certain path - which boils down to how much a meter
is. Which we in turn can take to how much a kg is - and then how much a
liter is. Rather pointless if you ask me...
