it drives me nuts at the place where I clean at night.  They have signs all
over to turn off lights and save power but can't shut off their monitors
over the weekend?  What are they THINKING??  It's silly enough to want to
keep the machines running, but considering that some areas may be in use at
a variety of times, and may use share directories on the network, it seems
reasonable to leave the box running.  One button, that's all it takes to
turn a monitor on or off.
Bloody idiots.
