And about the other half of my messages regarding trying to see if Windows
will see the modem if you remove the I/O card? This will NOT harm the
machine, nor will it require soldering of any sort. You can do it all by
your lonesome with only yourself to depend on for help. Just a need little
persistence and willingness to succeed!
If it don't work then, you're wasting your time pursuing those jumpers!
