Following each meander of this thread in detail, it sometimes make me
ROFL - "SOSS" (or any other DOS networking setup) "tricky" ?! After
two(!) week of long nights I finally got the SurvBeast up and rannung
Slakware yesterday, and sure that needed the network placenta to
get "native"; no means and tricks to access the (external, parallel
port connected) CD for the archives, noch chance to succedd with
staightforward (if labourous) diskette transfer (it just wouldn't read
most of the Linux-written files on them.
Probably it would take me another two weeks befor I could simply grap
some lines from an email and print them out on the non-networked
printer.
