But if I move my 16MB around to any of the other two 72 pin slots I get no
memmory (even with my 1*4MB 30 pin). Shouldn't I atleast get 16 or 4 then?
How rare is it that the SIMM slots doesn't work?

Yeah, I had 4*1+16+4+4 installed and only 4MB was visible to the computer
at that time. That one doesn't bother me as much since I've moved the two
4MBs into a computer (SX2-66) my sister is going to get when I or she moves
out from home (which ever is first). She wanted the smaller 386SX-16 more
(with 8*1MB) but I explained that it wasn't as powerfull. I've been
thinking of using the 386SX-16 as a "portable HD" instead of my AMIGA. I
haven't dug out a bag that's large enough yet however, but a LPT cable
should be faster then a serial cable so it's definately worth trying - not
to mention going from 150MB to 450MB in HD space :)
