I've got an isa U.S. Robotics 56k6 in my 486DX2-80 (which is a winmodem,
though).
Normally I'm running Opera/Eudorawin3.1. As said above, for more speed a
better(faster) provider would do more good than a faster computer.
Think a 56k6 will work just fine on your 66.
