Dear folks,

If you need USB support, then you really need to upgrade to Win98
SE.  You can occasionally get USB to work with Win95 OSR2, but
it really is flaky at best.

As for WindowsME... I've tried it here for several weeks. We got a
copy hot off the shelf, and found that it really doesn't do anything
that Win98 SE doesn't do more stably, and faster, and at half the
hard-drive space.

If you want WindowsME functionality, install Win98 SE, download
and install Windows Media Player, and you'll be pretty close.  Then
all you need is a competent backup & recovery program, and you'll
have most of the touted features of WinME.  :-/
