Remove all printed circuit boards and let them dry inside the house for
a week or more.

If you're not familiar with how to deal with the high voltage present in
monitors then no, it's not safe to do anything with the monitor.

Remove the cover and, if accessible, the main board from the power
supply, too.

Before testing, Put a drop of motor oil (you heard me) on each bearing
of all the fans (one, I think).
