I have problems with Goin Postal on this Compaq Contura 4/25CX laptop
with a Compaq Speedpaq 14.4 internal modem. It works fine with all of
my other DOS internet apps, and DOS terminal programs. I did have to
configure the init string to get it to work properly with all of
these apps, but I've never been able to get Goin' Postal to ever talk
to the modem, either on COM1 or 2. It's a real puzzle to me since it
works with everything else so well. The author of Goin' Postal, Steve
Lawson, might be on this list, though I may be thinking of the
Arachne list instead. If he's here, maybe he can help the both of us.
Steve, you here?
