I use 'Windows 98 Secrets', by Livingston and Straub. It is an
excellent book, and a lot of techies recommend it, and
Livingston. Right now I have seen it on sale, at 'die for'
prices. I paid $49.99 for it when it was current, and I believe I
just saw it on sale for about $6.00 at the local (Chicago) Micro
Center. They are 'dumping' their inventory, since the OS version
is no longer current. Look around, you might get lucky. It has an
in-depth section on Registry and regedit, which is very useful.
