Hello: Can anyone here recommend a good Windows 3.x fax program? I am looking for one without any unnecessary and superfluous bells and whistles, one that will simply do the job, and one that is easy to learn to use.
I used to use Delrina Winfax Lite. This is a very nice program, but I don't like to use it anymore because it has a Y2K problem. The program will work only if I backdate my system date to some day prior to Jan 1st, 2000! I have searched for a patch or a fix for it, but the problem is that this program is no longer supported by anybody. If anyone knows of an alternative program that works just as good or better than Winfax Lite, and one that has no problems with dealing with the current century, please let me know. Please do not recommend any bloatware or any costly payware. An inexpensive shareware program would be OK.
