The one other thing you refer to, is the crashing caused by so many M$ websites. I need a browser that can give me images and hardware circuits, and then have SST so I can order parts conveniently. Arachne cant do these. But as you say, everything else is out there free for download, faster because of smaller archive sizes, and often easier to install in dos. Granted that Linux is far better at networking, but all that I do is thru an ordinary 56k modem. If I can do it in dos, I can prolly do it faster.
