And chess is superior to checkers. No argument yet. Checkers is a pretty good game and it gives people enjoyment. I have no problem if people keep playing it (although I would be happy to teach them the rules of chess). However, when a dedicated checkers player (who knows little about chess) criticises chess and makes erroneous statements about it, we end up with discord.
