Yep, DOS and Windows had no problem with it - as far as they are concerned, it's just a really fast IDE drive. I suspect, though, that the drive manager software may not work - I believe that it's talking to the drive controller at a very low level, and is definitely doing translation for every request. So, maybe, maybe not. It should still be possible to use the first 512MB of the CF card, if that should become a problem. Thanks for the purchasing tip on CF. There aren't any Fry's Electronics stores anywhere near me, though I have seen them while on vacation to point south, so I know which ones you mean. Anthony J.
