Yes. I compiled links-2.1pre3, the current version is links-2.1pre7.

I still cannot get links to run in graphics-mode on this machine,
either under Slack 8.1 or Debian 3.0. Perhaps it's the video card
or maybe 8 meg ram is not enough. I've been using Linux for a few
years, and this is the only program that has ever crashed Linux.

This works for me. While I thought it might be neat to get graphical
links to work, I'll let others mess with it if they want. I don't
mind using a text-mode browser. Even on my P1 with X and Mozilla, I
still browse in text-mode most of the time.

I have dropped back to kernel 2.2.6 with Slack 8.1. The newer kernels
seem a bit sluggish and I get a memory error if I try to mount my CD
drive.
