I have audio working fine on my ultra 2 with suse 7.3. Sound works with both the default smp kernel and the new one (2.4.19 pre8) that I built.
Are you sure that your hardware works? Have you ever had sound working on the machine before? If so, start with sound card configuration in yast2, and then make sure that you have the volume on in aumix. What sound daemon are you using? I use esd and it works flawlessly. I play mp3s in xmms and watch video with sound in xine. If you have specific questions email me. -Brad --- Scott A Micciche <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Yup, all package for sound installed.
