Hi,   To comment: I have sound working on an Ultra 5. However, I am using gnome instead of kde. Although it is a different platform entirely, a couple of friends of mine had the same difficulty with x86 machines running either Suse or another linux flavor (no sound), which was solved by merely logging in using gnome instead of kde. It may or may not work with the Blade 100. Hope this is helpful. -Josh
