Most Methanol made in America today is made from Natural gas by destructive distilation. You can make your own with methain using copper scub pads for a catilist but it is expensive. You would be better off useing ethel alcohol. You can use cornmeal to take the last 5% of the water out of the vapor. (A still will only make 95% pure alcohol and you will need 100% to make biodesiel)

I know that methanol is a by-product of ethanol distillation of fruits containing high concentrations of pectin, is there a way to exploit this fact and make just methanol? -BRAH [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] Biofuel at Journey to Forever: http://journeytoforever.org/biofuel.html Biofuels list archives: http://archive.nnytech.net/ Please do NOT send Unsubscribe messages to the list address.
