Hi, Quinn!

In the Midwestern U.S. we tend not to have the same persistent type 
of weather pattern. With the exception of several weeks during the 
four winter months, we have nearly as much sun as California because 
the the jet stream from Canada collides with weather systems from the 
Gulf of Mexico and pushes weather patterns through so quickly.
