That suggests a failure in the initial design, if you cannot do

s/createElement(/createElementNS(svgNS,/g
and similar then something is very weird is about how you wrote your
existing code.

The browser viewer communication exists exactly the same in Deer Park as in
ASV, parent, top etc. all reference parent documents, again unless you've
done something very odd, there's nothing you need to do, going the other
way, again it's trivial you just need to reference the document slightly
differently, a sed script would likely fix this too - if you use postURL,
getURL, parseXML or printNode, then all are available for mozilla from
http://jibbering.com/2005/10/getURL-postURL-printNode-parseXML.js
(just include the file it won't impact scripts in ASV)
