I was talking to an IT guy today who thinks that Microsoft will NOT offer native support of SVGs - down the road.
Since Adobe will discontinue support for their SVG viewer, I am wondering if I should abandon SVGs for Flash? Why is Adobe discontinuing support for the SVG viewer? Will they release that code as open source? ASV, in my opinion, is a fantastic viewer for SVGs. I like Opera's native support of SVGs, but right now, I have to focus on what my customers will use and they are using IE. Does anyone have some insight into this matter?
