But the solution I imagine requires a big refactoring of the code. So, I have to gather courage and time. I've been procrastinating like that for too long. That said, workarounds exist : You can use nested <g>'s and dispatch the animations to them. Events were not on my priorities, but I guess it would not be difficult to implement.
