I propose this plan:

        * Still distribute the articles as modules. Since they shouldn't
have prerequisites, you really don't need CPAN.pm to install them.
I like the module distribution idea, but not the CPAN idea.

        * Don't put them on CPAN. Make people come back to metaperl.com
to get them. They can run into the mailing list and whatnot.
        Diversity is a good thing.

        * Write a column for The Perl Review, where you can summarize the
latest stuff or focus on a topic.

        * Stop thinking about how you plan to distribute them. It's
almost an after thought to the hardest part: developing good
content. Of all the things that I do for TPR, editing is by
far the hardest and longest part. Think about that for a while. :)

        * How about you choose a topic for the list each month, and we
put our heads together to absolutely kill the subject with every
detail w ecan think of. Someone at the end (maybe on a rotating
basis) puts it all together, edits out the kruft, and releases
        that month's article.

OK, I've said what I think, and I'll go back to my own magazine now. :)
