There's another thought I had concerning this: many of us have games in their original shrinkwrap. The manufacturers of these games probably never figured they would ever stay for so long in that shrinkwrap, so might we actually create ourselves a problem if we leave those precious games in there? There is surely no air circulation going on through the shrinkwrap. BTW, I found an interesting PDF concerning the matter.
