I would recommend signature confimation with insurance. The confirmation will act as proof that it was delivered, the insurance will give you some protection if it's damaged en route. And it's not too expensive. For items like this you may want to call the buyer on the phone before you ship, just to validate that the info isn't fake. You can request the contact info thru eBay. Maybe reverse lookup the number on WhitePages, too, to verify it matches the name and address.
(Yeah, I don't trust anyone anymore... 'cept you guys of course! B-) Escrow is another viable option, but it's more expensive, means longer turnaround, and you still have to ship with a tracking number for the escrow service. (They recommend insurance too.) I've never used any personally, as I got turned off by the limited options they'd accept as "valid" tracking numbers. That was years ago, maybe they've changed practices since? P.S.
