I viewed the page through Firefox only. I did not try to access the files
directly. The errors were captured through a http traffic monitor.

If the errors are normal, the you wouldn't be posting to the list :)

For whatever reason, I think your security setup believes FF is trying to
directly link to the files when it requests the resource(s). Can you
temporarily remove the security or post the page and associated files to a
unprotected dir /server to see if it actually the reason for the errors?
