Hi John. Well, if nothing else, you have at least established what the issue is.
As the problem is related to the FF based Flash player (and not specifically to SWFObject), I don't think it is appropriate to add it to our FAQ. However, I will be happy to point people in the right direction if a question is asked on the list.
