Aran I reported this as a bug to Bugzilla (Firefox) It does appear to be a problem, that firefox does not send any header referrals. The thing I am not sure about is whether this only happens when using flash. Because no referrals are being sent, Cpanel believes it to be a direct link and so will block the images (when hotlink is activated). After checking through the Bugzilla reports, many people are having the same problem, but Firefox do not seem to be in any rush to fix this.
Maybe an announcement should be made on the SWFObject web site, to warn users not to activate hotlinking via Cpanel when using Firefox ?
