Actually, Public Radio Delmarva, WSCL and WSDL are licensed to Salisbury, MD
and Ocean City, MD but their transmitters are in Seaford DE and Selbyville DE
respectively. You can hear at least one of the two stations from Wilmington to
the Eastern Shore of Virginia.  During NPR's Morning Edition they simulcast the
NPR feed and local news inserts from the Salisbury studio.  So Delaware has
been well covered by public radio news.

I volunteered at these stations for 10 years during pledge drives to operate
the board and rip and read the local news from the AP wire during the Morning
Edition local breaks.  The local news covered the entire Delmarva peninsula.
On a normal morning there was not enough  local news to fill the local breaks
causing us to repeat stories after about an hour.  I have difficulty seeing how
one could fill a broadcast day with local news covering only Delaware.
