Jon, thanks for your time and effort. I'm glad we have something in common now, for I feel same confusion reading Symfony2 tour after classic books. Initial post is about how one begins with making a flat website, evolves by means of simplifying some tasks with inheritance and markup, then get stuck as comes to MVC because of bottleneck called geek documentation with no real-life, familiar analogies except for old-fashioned HelloWorld or enterprise-related shopping cart.
