Hello!

Interesting conversation - I'm currently desperately trying to find a
new screen setup to replace my old 17" single screen. What do you think
is better suited?

two 19" screens - unfortunately with no higher resolution on each than
my current 17"

two 20" screens - having the disadvantage of small pixels. Fortunately
fonts can be scaled in Ubuntu, but I don't know whether that bears some
other problems

OR one 24" widescreen - being good for other stuff like DVD, but bad for
development (it's only 1920 pixels wide)

(one 30" widescreen or two 21" would be perfect, but they are just too
expensive)

I am developing on the following platform:

OS: Ubuntu Gutsy
IDE: Eclipse + PDT + Aptana + Mylyn (for task management)
Browser: Firefox + Webdev Toolbar + Firebug

Regards
