I advice you : - 2 x LCD 20' 1400x900 : 2.9MPix ( You can buy 2 LCD 20' (4/3) with 1440x1050 pixels résolution like "Samsung SyncMaster 203B" (about 200€), it's chepear than 1600x1200 20' screen and pixels are bigger.
If you want 3 screens like me, you need a 2nd video card and I don't know how linux manage it. For people using 2 or more screen on windows I recommend "UltraMon utility" (to have independant taskbar for each screen).
