Wow - we're going off topic now aren't we? :) I have 2x19" at work (FP91G+ BenQ), and they are really nice - I personally don't mind the central border problem (which you don't get with 1 wide, or 3 screens) I think now things are so cheap, 17"'s aren't worth considering anymore for anything other then aux screens (3rd+ monitor). Without looking at prices, I'd imagine you can get 2x19 for the cost of a nice size wide, so I'd go with that. I would also say that a wide screen wouldn't suit me, as I'm a 'window maximizer'. I've discussed this topic with others before, and concluded there are 2 types of people, the resizers, and the maximizers. If you maximize your windows generally, then a wide screen isn't for you. I'd prefer 2x19 over a wide. However..... a wide screen with 2x19, one on each side... I'd take that choice ;) Whatever you go for, make sure you lift your screens about 6" off your desk, it makes a huge difference to have the screens nearer eye level. -- Ian P.
